For toppers we offer light, medium and full volume.

Light volume offers 100% in density and gives a more natural look. We recommend light volume to those who already have fullness in the crown but need just a little bit of volume. Light volume is also recommended to those who have a flat crown and are worried about adding too much fullness and are wanting to keep it as natural as possible.

Medium volume offers 130% in density and gives a good amount of volume for those with a flat crown and some hair loss and is looking for some fullness in that area.

Full volume offers 150% in density and gives a much fuller look and is recommended for those with more hair loss and needing full coverage.

The answer to this question is “it depends.” You want to find a hair extension with a texture most similar to your current hair texture or the texture you will have at the time of application. Mostly because it is much easier for you to blend your existing hair with your hair extensions.

Straight Hair Texture
If you have straight hair and love the way it looks, choose a straight hair texture! If you have curly hair and would like straight hair extensions, consider a chemical relaxer or keratin treatment, or understand that your hair will require regular styling to match the straight hair extension.

Be sure to use a heat protectant spray and understand that excessive styling of hair extensions can result in the extension not lasting as long.

When choosing a hair topper we recommend choosing one that is either the same length as your own hair or 1-2 inches shorter so it can blend in as the shortest layer.

When choosing clip-in extensions although the goal is to add length you want to avoid getting something that may be too hard to blend in with your length. Ideally you may want to choose one that is about 1-2 inches longer than your own hair.

All of our standard pieces come in natural black that have not been coloured and is in its natural state. This means you can take your hair enhancer and get it toned darker or lightened to match your exact hair colour if you are within the deeper shades. Please note that our natural black has tones of brown to it. Any other colours are considered custom. Please inquire with our team if you have colour requests.
